Icon is Iowa’s oldest science fiction convention, founded in part by students from Joe Haldeman’s writing workshop. It features a notable author guest each year, panels, and a strong focus on writing and literature. Attendees can also expect vendors, programming related to science fiction and fantasy, and a community-oriented atmosphere.
